Strouss Brothers Construction  has grown over the last 39 years with Santa Clara County and we have participated in the construction of properties of all types in both public and private sectors from residential additions to hospitals, from drainage control measures and hillside construction to earthquake retrofitting at most of the major industrial complexes like IBM, HP, Apple, EBAY and Stanford. We have extensive experience in parking lot construction and the problems encountered in maintenance of asphalt areas. 

Our employees are chosen for their level of hands on ability. Because of the broad experience of the owners and management of Strouss Brothers two features of our company have emerged that makes us different than other contracting firms. First, a significant portion of our assistance to our customers has been of a consulting nature. Second, our company does a larger variety of work in house, helping making us more competitive.

While most maintenance needs we address are obvious and routine, many are not and require more in depth of knowledge than most construction estimators or property managers possess. As the Bay Area has grown, so has the size and complexity of its building projects. Because of the increasing size and value of buildings, the answers to owners needs have progressed from intuitive solutions to engineering solutions. Also because of the introduction of building codes surrounding the needs of the disabled, especially the exterior of properties have introduced an additional liability to owners that requires more than general construction knowledge to maintain them correctly.
